As you may know, we are based in Lymington in the beautiful New Forest National Park, and we love being here. So when we were approached by Camping in the New Forest (CNF) to produce a series of promotional videos for them, we were very happy to help, as it meant we could get out into the forest to film.

Working with the CNF marketing team, we discussed the style of videos they would like, looking at other videos for inspiration and to help our Creative Director visualise what the videos should look like. CNF provided us with a shot list and all the existing brand assets, so we could plan the shoot and create the custom motion graphics to be used in advance. For example, we produced a custom logo sting for CNF that you will see in all the videos.

We kept a close eye on the weather and planned to film on a dry, sunny day to get the best shots. On the day, we visited a number of their campsites (there are 10 in total in the New Forest) to capture a true flavour of the experience of staying with them. We worked with extras for certain shots and several real-life campers at the sites who were very happy to help.

Using a mixture of static and dynamic shots plus aerial footage from the drone, we captured plenty of footage for the videos. After a successful day of filming, we headed back to the edit suite to ingest the footage and begin cutting it up for the edits.

We produced one long-form video in landscape format and four vertical 15-second reels for CNF, adding text on screen and adding beautiful sound design to replicate the sound of the New Forest. The videos are now being shared across their social media channels.

You can watch the finished long-form video below (with the sound on for the best experience!):
